Toi Speed is a native of Lakeland Fl. She graduated high school from Kathleen Senior High and earned her first two degrees from the prestigious Florida A&M University. Started her career in education in Atlanta GA, before moving to Lake Gibson High School to serve as an English Teacher in 2003. From there she has served at many schools in different capacities such as a Reading Teacher, Reading Coach, and a district coach in another county. Ms. Speed became an Assistant Principal at Boone Middle School before accepting her present position at Gause Academy. Ms. Speed enjoys being with family and exploring new places. She is a lifelong bibliophile and continues to pursue personal and professional goals.
